Can you remember the first version of my bedroom – the one with a powder pink wall? Well, it is said that you should have your favorite colour in your home only on accessories, never on an entire wall. And so, of course, the pink bored me and I decided to do a bedroom makeover.

As the original bedroom began to feel gloomy, I wanted to choose a lighter wall colour. If you follow my Instagram stories, you know Majko and I have spent a long time pondering over wall colour samples. However, as they are never completely accurate, it turned out I did not like the resulting colour! It is such an indecisive shade of apricot pink. Never mind, we’ll fine-tune it. What is important is that the highlight of my bedroom is the Desenio paintings!

The visuals in the bedroom are important, so we should choose them carefully. I used to have a picture series of flowers and other pleasant things on the wall, but now I’ve changed all that for the holiday dream. Summer is my favorite time of year, so I decided to have it all year round in my bedroom – thanks to the Desenio posters. Their colour combination creates an incredible summer atmosphere, which is underlined by the sun penetrating through the window. Add palm trees either side, piña colada in hand and I’m on vacation, ha!
