We love them, men hate them.
They say they are super anti-sexy, we say they are mega-comfy. So what!
Birkenstocks (and other, similar slippers of this kind) used to be very in, when I was a teenager. I used to love them and so did my flat feet. I walked trough the next decade in ballerina flats, flipflops and heels.
My feet suffered, but those were the days ..
And then .. Birkies came back on the scene and I was super stoked when I saw them at the Bread & Butter fair in Berlin 3 years ago. Tons of new, cool designs! Yes!!
I got my first pair (after a long time) this Summer and I wore them on almost every day. I picked these red ones, they were great for Summer. It’s too cold now to wear them now outside, so I wear them around the house. My flat feet are having a bliss!
The older I get, the more I care about comfort and there is nothing wrong about that 🙂
