I can’t really say that packing for our Santorini holiday was exactly easy. We had many places to visit, many spots to shoot at, which required numerous outfits for numerous locations. I think that not only bloggers, but also any woman wants to look stylish at all times and thats why it is crucial to pack things that are stylish and comfy at the same time.
This kimono set was one of my favourite things to wear this Summer. It looks great like this – worn together with swimwear, a T-shirt or even with sneakers or wedges. It can also be worn separately and the kimono looks great even with jeans. I wore the shorts trough out the whole Summer. The jacket is a bit thicker so saving it for slightly colder days – altho I wore it quite often in Santorini. I did flaunt it a few times in Greece though – especially in La Perla villas, where ii! completely fit the location!
You know what is interesting though – I got many compliments on the set in Greece. When I wore it in Slovakia though almost all the people commented that it looks like PJs, haha!
If you are afraid of the “pyjama effect”, go for the Asian prints that are so popular on kimonos, since the original kimonos are worn by geishas. You’ll appreciate this kind of piece not only in Summer but also in Autumn, when the layering comes in. Mornings are cold, days still warm…you know it.
But back to the set – I hope one day Slovak people will be more “open minded” when it comes to fashion and they will understand, that fashion is just another was to communicate without having to speak. Even in PJs!
Love,
