Wearing fishnets during the day? Why not?

To come up with a daytime outfit wearing fishnets other then under ripped jeans was a bit of challenge. You have probably seen it a million times on instagram already and I tried to put together something I can wear to work, to a meeting or to a coffee with my girls.

When I picture a “city girl” I see her in jeans, simple Tee, dope leather jacket and some not-so-high-heels or some cool sneakers. In this case I replaced jeans with a feminine jean midi skirt and red kitten heels. In this look I went for a sihnet classic – black ones with not so large net. Together with the shoes they make the outfit edgy, and that is very me!

Important factor when wearing fishnets in general is to keep the rest of the outfit very simple. Jean fabric and black & white combo look quite cool (and is super easy to combine), but to avoid looking too boring you can add a little splash of color in accessories – just like I did with the red scarf and shoes. If you are not feeling the fishnets so much, you can always replace them with classic black see-trough stockings, or not wear any…but that would not be a fishnet challenge anymore, would it? 🙂
