My Top Swimwear Of This Season

The last time I wore a one-piece suit was in a swimming camp in 5th grade. They were black and white and when they got wet, you could see my nipple trough the white part, which was kinda traumatising being only barely 10 years old. My mom decided to save me from embarrassment and saw a patch on with and english sign we did not understand. It did the trick though!

After more than two decades I have decided that its time to bring the monokinis back to my life and I have several reasons to do so:

Two-piece suits have started to really bore me out. I mean I know there can’t be much invention done … but this year’s collections brought nothing new.

Monokini are much more of a chic piece and when I pair them with an “A line” skirt and a straw hat, I feel like a leading role in a 1950s movie – a dream I believe many of us have!

And last but not least – they cover my stomach. I have ditched the gym 3 months prior to Summer and you could totally tell. Not that I gained a ton of weight, but stomach was the first area on my body where you could tell I have not been to the gym for a while. It wasn’t critical, but for someone that used to have a six pack it was definitely a thing to cover up.

Today I’m a happy owner of several one-piece suits: white ones, blue ones, even stripy ones. Some of them are see through when wet (which I don’t ming now, lol) and one flamingo piece is cut so narrow on the side, that my boob peeks out which each step. More importantly I have the bird of this Summer on my chest!! haha.

This was the last sunset of our holiday, definitely not the last holiday post though! I hope I manage to finish them all before the Autumn hits …How was your dream holiday and what swimwear do you prefer?

Love,
