Wearing black lace during daytime hours can be a little cheeky. One has to be very careful with the styling not to look a bit confusing and definitely making sure that it is paired with the right garments to bring the whole look a bit down.
I normally wear lacey pieces under my clothes, but sometimes when I come accros a chic piece like this one, I think it should be shown.

You know me. I always try to avoid cliché combos such as a black lace top and a black skirt. I prefer a little challenge and pair this see-through top with daytime wear. But how?

It is very simple: if you have a super sexy piece made out of lace or with cutouts, pair with with simple jeans and a basic and elegant suit jacket (preferabely of a lightercolor as if you wear black jacket on top it will look too “evening” for the day).
That brings the whole look down, but still keeps it elegant and classy despite the see through front. I would easily pair it with simple white sneakers, but this time I opted for my Gianvito Rossi heels and a red lipstick. This way I can easily go from a day of meetings straight to a bar for a cosmo, or two 😉
