This is what my ideal Saturday looks like:
I have a day off, I feel like a bit of shopping, a bit of a stroll and a drink.
When I was a teenager I always admired those American movie scenes, where a couple walks into a fancy boutique and a shop assistant in a suit jacket with giant shoulder pads offers them a glass of champagne.
I mean .. what a service?!
And this is what my last Saturday looked like:
I had a day off, I felt like a bit of shopping, a bit of a stroll and well, I always feel like having a drink.
We walked into Zin Zin – a concept store on Vajanskeho and as the first thing they handed us a glass of Becherovka with tonic and a fresh cucumber (you know Summer is comin’ when a fresh veg replaces a fluorescent candied fruit in your drink). I had just a sip (or two), coz driving, Jozef took care of the rest.
I mean, what a service?!
Zin Zin is the only storE in Bratislava that took over my favourite concept:
Shopping, drinks, a cute bartender, a banging DJ, sales and fun.
They don’t do it every day, but when they do it it’s always different and ALWAYS fun (in about 2 month periods).
You can find local brands but also those from abroad. Most importantly you find stuff you can’t buy elsewhere in Bratislava. It took us an hour to decide what we are going to buy and eventually I went for a top by WEMOTO ( I already have one and the fabric is undestroyable) and Jozef bought a T-shirt with a funky design.
Whether you are looking for an original present or you are a fan of “slow fashion”, Vajanskeho 9 in Bratislava is your spot to shop. One of the owners will always greet you with a glass of chilled prossecco or a coffee. It’s just a walking distance to downtown so regardless of wanting to buy somthing or not it’s a great starting point of a night out! 😀
Shop & Love,
