My First Handmade Skirt

You know what they say. What you learn at young age … I have learnt how to sew at the age of 10 and I have not really sewn since then. Why now? The whole idea started when I was looking for a blue and
white skirt all through out Summer and couldn’t find one, until I have decided to make one. Of course it’s not perfectly made but the pleasure of finishing your fist garment after years is so satisfying you stop caring about unfinished hems or a crocked pockets 😀 I found the tutorial on youtube, just added the pockets myself (it took me a while to figure it out) and I added a red metal zipper on the back, which we forgot to photograph. Try it! Try to make some garment yourself, it’s not as hard as you think! And send me a picture 🙂
