THE SUNFLOWER CHILD

I always wanted to do a shooting in sunflowers. In all these years (decades!) in front of a camera I never did, so it was about time 😀 Although I love Summer and it’s my favourite season (I was born in Summer and sun is my sign’s planet, then I guess sunflowers should be my flowers?), I do suffer in this heat a bit. What to wear is no longer a question of style, but a question of practicality (but best combined!). Shorter the better, yes 😀 but if you don’t want to be overly exposed, airy flowy tops kimonos are the best option. Lindex came with pieces exactly like this in their Summer collection and I love it. The top is not only chic but also you don’t need to wear a bra under it (one layer down, yes!) and if you wanna protect yourself from the sun and not get cooked, then this lightweight kimono is fantastic. The straw hats are also a must in Summer, I got mine in a special hat shop in Bratislava and wear it every day. 😉

Vždy som túžila po fotení v slnečnicovom poli. Zaujímavé, že za tie roky (dekády!) pred kamerou sa mi to nepodarilo, až doteraz 😀 Milujem leto, je to moje najobľúbenejšie ročné obdobie. Narodila som sa v lete, Slnko je mojou planétou (tak tým pádom slnečnice by mali byť moje kvety, či? :D), ale aj napriem tomu bojujem s týmito horúčavami. Čo na seba prestáva byť otázkou štýlu, ale naberá skôr praktický význam. Čím kratšie, tým lepšie, to je jasné 😀 ale ak nechcete behať po ulici polonahá, tak vzdušné topy a kimoná sú super voľbou. Lindex prišiel presne s takýmito vo svojej novej kolekcii. Tento ľahký top je nielen chic, ale nemusíte pod ním mať podprsenku (o vrstvu menej!) a ak potrebujete ochrániť ramená pred slnkom ako ja, toto letné kimono je perfektnou voľbou. Samozrejme must-have doplnkom je slamený klobúk, ten môj je z klobúčnictva v Bratislave a nosím každý deň 😉
