In FASHION, OUTFITS

My Last Winter Oufit

My last winter outfit. The last one of three. How pathetic for a fashion blogger, right?

This Winter has been an exceptionally difficult period of my life. Probably one of the hardest in the past decade and only just now I finally feel like the hard times are finally over. Difficult clients, toxic friendships and cold days were my daily struggle and it affected not only my everyday life, but also the way I dressed. Finally I had a chance to understand people that only wear one jacket the whole winter, or the same pair of boots the whole season … because so did I, without caring even the slightest bit wether it goes with the rest of the outfit or not.

Oversized sweaters, jeans and boots… what else is there to wear? Fashion has lost it’s fun part for me and the will to boost my mood by dressing up has completely vanished.

Complicated things in my life got solved, my time management has improved. My drive to create is coming back and I can’t wait for the days to be warm again to the point we don’t have to freeze to death shooting outside in this unphotogenic city. Even this outfit has been shot in an Asian bistro Foodstock downtown Bratislava – as we needed to hide from a minus five weather.

I got inspired by millenials to create this look – and despite the fact I am not one – it completely fits me. It’s basically a jumper, bright coloured jacket and a grey bag. Boom. You could have seen me in this outfit maybe five times. The rest of the times were about a beige sweater, dark green oversized jacket and messy hair.

Yep, that was my Winter.

This month though is all about a change – I actually feel like Im starting a new life. Despite the hard times, I have managed to pull two projects together in March, that were an absolute satisfaction (and I can’t wait to share them with you!) I have so much content that if I was a superwoman, I could easily publish a new article every day. We both now that’s not gonna happen, ha, but I will try my best to make it up to you and to get back to my normal, creative regime.

So stay tuned for a ton of OOTDs, travel posts and new lifestyle articles about stuff that makes my life better and helps me survive periods like these!

Hope you had fabulous holidays, got much needed rest (like me!) and I wish you a great start of the week.

Love,
